Requirements for License

Under 18 years:

• Complete Driver's Education
• Submit application to DMV & pay licensing fee
• Pass written test & vision test at DMV
• Complete 6 hours of Driver's Training from a professional driving school
• Complete 50 hours of supervised practice with CA, Licensed Driver who is 25 yrs. or older (10 of these hours must be at night)
• Have permit for at least 6 months
• Pass road test at DMV

Over 18 years:

• Submit application to DMV
• Pay licensing fee
• Pass written test & vision test
• Pass drive test
